That sounds good, I'll just go ahead and order the capacitor from OSE, I've been thinking about ordering a new Leopard Motor anyhow. Once I get the new one does it matter which lead goes in which hole?

Yes, it does matter, on the Rubicon caps the "-" has a gray stripe painted on the body ( if my memory serves me correctly), I believe you will see markings on the original as well. I have replaced caps on the 180ESC and "+" & "-" are clearly marked.

I'll have to pay attention to that then, would it be likely that the - on the board would be closest to the negative lead in and the + would be closest to the positive lead in? I'd show you guys with a picture but I don't have one available at the moment.

I don't remember on this ESC, but the three caps on the 180 A ESC has their corresponding leads soldered into the board which has polarities marked on it. I am in China at the moment---far away from my boats , so I don't want to give you wrong info.
