Small scratch built rigger

Not planning to break any records, just something to through in my pond which is only 90' x 60'. I'm planning to build a rigger about 18". I have a Eflight outrunner 370 1080kv 110 watts max. A 20amp non-water cooled esc and 3s 2200 and 1300mah batteries.
Do I have a chance to make this work or am I wasting my time? Do I need to watercool the esc and motor or will they be ok because of the low amp draw? Should I run piano wire drive system and how should it be supported? Completely sleeved or just supported in a few spots?
Any suggestions will be appericiated.

Electric, Can you give us more details for the motor, ESC, battery, prop and other recommendations to get this boat up and running.
I own this micro rigger. I just don't like that it is not water cooled. The out runner gets way to hot. I would like to convert it to a water cooled 3s set-up. What are your thoughts?

What motor,esc and battery are you running in the mini sprint? What speed?

Sorry guys, it's been too long since I had it. I remember that I ran the standard motor that you bought off of the website where they sell the boat. Could not put a GPS in there because the hull is very small. I agree with you that I would have liked a cooler running set up and a water line (if you could squeeze it in there) would help. The boat has handles very well and turns great. If I were to build another one, I would think about making the tub a bit taller to give myself a little more room for the battery and esc.

I know this is bigger than you asked about, but I should at least mention it to you. I have owned this rigger as well and I have run it over 60mph and it handled like it was on rails. Really an awesome boat. If you just put a standard sv27 type motor and decent esc you will see low to mid-50's. My club doesn't really run riggers so I eventually sold them off to finance other projects.
