    Mini V with new guts.

Just picked up a ProBoat Mini V hull with just the motor. Thought, "What the heck - I've got a brushed esc, a micro rcvr, and servo that fits, let's see what it can do." Put it together and added a 1000ma 40c lipo. and off to the Celina pond. Short report is this puppy goes and after 10 minutes of running, motors were warm to touch, esc cool and battery cold. It could almost stay with a Mini Mono running side by side. Water was very rough for these small boats. MiniMono flipped once, Mini V spun out a couple of times after going airborne, but never flipped. I'm going to have fun with my new toy.

I had a Mini-V with a Grauper 480 with a 629 Grauper Carbon Fiber prop and a 1300 lipo. I replaced the servo/rx and used .130 cable. That thing was FAST. I water cooled the motor too. I also did a BBY micro mono too. Esc was a 45amper. This was YEARS ago. I think it could beat a minimono with that setup. Now it was fun!!

Smooth water a MiniMono will walk away from my mini V, but put a little chop on the water and the Mini V will still be going full bore while the MiniMono is floating belly up.
