Failsafe setup help needed

I just bought a Super Mono X by Joysway and want to install a failsafe unit between the ESC and receiver. How do I go about setting it so it stops the throttle in an emergency/loss of signal?

No need to, you can test this for yourself. Run your SMX full speed and shut off your TX. You'll see throttle reduce to zero and your rudder turn slightly clockwise.
