    where to start?

    hows it going y'all?!
I have myself a proboat mini mono. it is a blast!
I have been wanting a larger boat for a while now, just not sure which to get.
but before I get a larger boat I would like another "mini".
I have been checking out the minicatracing boats.
just not sure if these come recommended or not?
I do not race but I like to go sinking... I mean boating hahaha.
let me know if I am going to make a regretful purchase or not,

    again, thanks!

Sailr from Minicat Racing is on this forum & stands by his boats, just depends what type of mini you want ie deep v, Mini Eco or hydros.

the micro hydro, velocity and starship are all great boats. i know from experience. also sailr is a great guy to deal with...
ps: starship is my personal favorite.. fast, reliable and almost imposible to destroy

cool thanks for the replies guys!
funny you mention the starship, that is the one I have been looking at.
is there any recommended upgrades, or weak points? or is it good to go?

it is good to go. i had one for a long time and the only thing i ever had to replace was the servo. a few things to be carefull with are: make sure you tape it up good and watch the strut bearings. the rear bearing tends to come out when you do shaft maintnence and is easy to loose.. otherwise it is a great boat and a blast to drive.....
