    Delta Force Vortex 16 setup.

Can someone please post pics of the DFV16 setup? I have this boat but it didn't come with any setup instructions.

Only pic I still have of mine. CG was about 3/4" benind the sponson transoms if I remember correctly. Great little boats and not too picky about setup. I ran a feigao 380L in mine on 3s.

I assume you are talking about the 16 inch Hydro from DF? I bought the last one from Steven and the epoxy around the motor mount was almost none , so during shipping the motor came loose which was a really easy fix, 30 min. epoxy did the job . I alsi gave a little extra around the battery rails. I didn't use the 40a ESc because i couldn't arm it, so I bought a SEAKING 35A. I love the boatbecause it can run in relatively small pond. I don't know how it compares ti MINICAT's Mini Hydro which I believe is the first pic. posted by Rumdog. Here is my setup:DSCN0330_034.jpgDSCN0332_036.jpg

By the way, I tried to raise and lower the prop, the picture shows what's best for me.DSCN0335_039.jpg. Have fun!

Nope. Mine is the original Delta Force mini Vortex. They were sold as hull only. They changed the cowl for the RTR.

Thanks for correcting me! Wow, the hardware looks more beautiful than the rtr, it reminded me of the blue aluminum fro Minicat. Do you think the rudderis better off on the port side? Why did they change it?

I have the bare hull and hardware . I wanted to know battery placement and where to drill the holes for the hardware.
