Are you going to use 2s or 3s as 3800kv on 3s is a hot set up & should only be used for short speed runs as its doing 42000rpm unloaded. I would use a watercooled esc at these speeds as things get quite hot.

i have no idea any help and info would be good i use 2200ma 3s lipos and was just going to use the motor and speed controller as they come

martin could u put a pic up of your trim tabs fitted and where u got them from cheers

I dont have any pics but the trim tabs are the ones in OSE store ose80069 for $7.95, I cut them smaller to 25mm wide x 30mm length.

The inside edge of each tab is 12- 13mm from the centre of the hull so around 25 - 26mm between the 2 inner edges of the tabs. Their also around 1.5mm up from the bottom of the hull ( dont set them level with the bottom of the hull ).
