Hull is a Joysway Offshore Warrior deep v 15" + hardware, Motor is a $12 Ebay special from Hong Kong outrunner 2836 3800kv. Esc is a $20 cheapo 60amp, lipo is Turnigy Nano Tech 2200mah 3s 40c-90c, prop is Octura x435 metal sharpened & balanced, Flex is stock 2.3mm & runs in 2 ball races in the strut. This boat does around 50mph & weighs 2 pounds or 900 grams all up so not light weight. Also 100% self righting. Martin.

Ill be using a simular set up + possibly a bigger prop if the hull will take a bigger prop when i get one of the 16" JAE design Mini Sprint hydros. Im hoping that may go into the 60s mph, But thats another project to look foward to. Martin.

They do indeed have some very under estimated hulls, Even in stock form the little Joysway Offshore Warrior is probably one of the fastest best handling micro boats out of the box running around 36mph on stock motor, esc & prop. One thing that made a huge difference on the hull was filling a hook that was in the last 3" of the hull bottom but most hulls ive seen has some sort of defect in the bottoms so not just Joysway. Every thing in the boat is non stock now + rudder shortened & thinned down + trim tabs added & around 1degree positive angle on the strut to get the front up to really unload the boat. This is way i was thinking of one of the bigger X Blaze boats but their not available in the UK & am having difficulty finding them elswhere. Thanks Martin.

Just trust me on the X-Blaze.
I have the sea drifter super as well. The x-blaze is by far the most amazing RTR I've ever driven. I intend to go nuts with it in N-2 mono at the nats and SAWS

Do I know a reliable place in the us to get one? Absolutely. Go to hobbypeople.net but order soon they're going like hotcakes. I'm sponsored by Hobby People/Airtronics and they are the official US distributor.

The x blaze super enhanced my rc experience. Here's a bot that needs Nothing. Performs flawless out of the box and leaves you zero desire to upgrade anything.

I'm in love with this boat and a couple of friends have ordered them through me.
