    Mono 1

http://www.astecmodels.co.uk/catalog...sort=1a&page=2 Anyone got any info on this boat. A little longer and wider then the Velocity Mono >The website dosent say much about them. What speed can be expected with a TS 1530 motor ?

I have one that I bought second hand with no motor, its fairly shallow for a deepV and a good handling hull but not as good as some are when the water gets very rough. It has a built in flood chamber and fairly light construction well moulded in epoxy glass cloth with seamless joint. I put a HET 1w30 in it but the TS 1530 is a good motor too, the bloke I got it of used a 1530 but not a tenshock one and kept it. I have not done the 110yds with mine but around 40mph is typical for a mono1 in race trim with 2s 5800mah and 6:30 run time. the hull is well capable of going faster and still handling well if your not racing Mono1 and don't need the run time.

I also have one I purchased used, it has the Tenshock motor and flies on 2s running a big prop 50 x 35mm and 120 ESC. It will self right on 4000 mah but on 22000 mah only sometimes, was thinking of adding a little weight when I use the smaller battery
Well made boat but as stated above a shallow v design but with the self righting that is not a problem for me, I use for sport running.
Love mine it is one of my better purchases from the swap shop.
