    1/8 Shaft Carbon props

Do any online stores have carbon props for 1/8" shafts? I need smaller sizes for my mini hydro. My pocket can afford metal ones and then go and have to buy a balancer and balance and sharpen them.

If you use this: http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...?prod=ose-1035 you can have a more selection of props. Also the Miss Vegas and Miss Elam use 1/8 props so you may be able to order the stock or recommended hop-up prop for those boats depending on which dia your looking for. Hopefully this helps.

To use threaded Graupner carbon prop just drill out through the thread and plastic, with a 7/64 drill bit.

You can then thread on the prop onto a 1/8" threaded stubb shaft.

Works better if you run a 5-40 tap through it first.

I drill them out by hand on a piece of wood, With a new drill bit it seems to always go true.

Steve V. OSE taught me this.
