    Depending on budget, don't rule out the bigger 580 Feigao L cans. 9L or 10L. And, you will be much happier in the long run setting your sights on a solid 55 mph. It's approx 60! And you wont' have to retrieve your boat as often.

    I just don't know if Steve has a cooling can yet for that L motor.

        I don't undrestand SAW what does that mean? I run my boats for fun sport I suppose but I want speed. The items in the boat are as fallows. Nemesis 14xl, hydra 240 low voltage, speed master mono adjustable hardware system 150 cable m445 prop 2 3s 4500mah lipos. The hydra manual says I can run 6s on it. The reason I chose the 240 is I can run more power through it than the 120. My other boat BK bandit cat runs 120 hydra Ammo 2300 on 4s 4600mah and runs circles around the df like it was standing still. No Im not fishing just looking for sugestions. If I want to go fishing I'll grab my bass rods and jon boat and go
        If you think you're fast. You're not!!!

          [QUOTE=lrm50;115900]I don't undrestand SAW what does that mean?

          SAW = Straight AWay = only 2 pass running
          Oval = 5-7 pass about 1.5 mins
          Sport = who know, depend on you.

            I have a DF33 setup with the 1521 1y and am very satisfied. I run poly rc lipo's 6s2p 12000 mah with a HiModel HV200a (el cheapo) esc. The speed you are asking for is there with this motor on 6s. I am not a racer, just a fun runner.

              Thank for the explanation of saw. I'm a sport runner my self I would like to get into oval racing but don't have the time. I do run my boats 4 to 5 laps on the lake at a time bring them in cool off through back out again. I'm going to try losen the DF up with a speed prop first if that does'nt work I'll try the neu 1521. can I run that motor on the 240 low voltage? the ECS was not cheap.
