    Rough water boat

Hello all, I am looking to move up in the FE world, i bought a Traxxas Blast awhile ago and have modified the heck out of it including replacing the steerable out drive with a rudder, replacing the stock 540 with a 15t, then going to a 380 sized brushless and 3s lipo. For a 28" mono it goes 35-40 mph and cannot handle the choppy water of our local lake. I have some electronics laying around, including a 70 amp 6s hacker speed control. and was wondering what boat, drive hardware etc to get for a rough water boat, thinking a deep vee or cat something around 30"

TY in advance for the help.

The Delta Force monos handle extremely well. 26", 29" and 33". I have the 26" and I love it!

Thank you rumdog, the batteries i have now are TP 2250Mah 3s 25C I run two in a 3s 2p configuration in my rusty and its 110+ amp at 3s. for one of the delta force boats what would be better, running 110 amps at 11.1 volts or 22.2 volts at 55 amps?.

      thanks

In my 26, I run 3s 25c 5000mah or 3s1p, Feigao 540 8L and 120 amp sc. On one the size of the 33" you'd probably want an XL size motor around 1500 kv on 6s.... BUT you'd need more Mah for that. Your 3s2p setup would work well in the 26.
