Suggestions for scale looking boat hull ,outboard preferred

    Hi all!

So I have the SV motor and esc sitting here and dont have a hull to put them in

And I have spare 200€ on me, so what to do...(no ,I wont sent it to you )

I would like to build something different then delta´s, so what is out there?

-Something scale, like F1 outboard, offshore cat or maybe an hydro -and the Miami Vice Scarab 38 would be so...... ?

-I will run them usually in mild chop, but willing to save them for calm days only, if wawes are problematic on some hull.

I would like to use outboard motor for some reason -but willing to to another stuff tube too...

    So thoughts and links please!

How about a Cat (not the kicking kind) or a hydro? You already have a mono.

        I hate cats(the kicking kind)

But hydro or scale cat(amaran) -would be cool.

I have never seen a hydro in here so that is something new.

The VS1 is almost good...dunno bout the sponson tips(why they cut them off).though. -or is it good, allmost

Is there anything like TS2 anymore?

And what would be good outboard unit? -some of them come without the cowling/top half, are they available or should I get some ep1......

The miss Elam is good looking too.... dam that it is rtr and not just the hull

Bustitup, sorry I dont like the looks of that hull.

Size I´m looking for is ..... -something that will move a bit with sv motor.

              -or with that 8xl......

The price should be pretty cheap, ~250$ shipped here -including hardware .(cause the dam taxes and customs.... will add 22% extra)

Cant find other then promise hobby on bay.....

your best bargain for the money is the mean machine he showed you for $90 that has the rudder, strut and stuffing tube all set up allready...all it basicly needs is a motor mount set up

plus the mean machine is one of the best handling hulls on the market

lol..think about it...how can you water damage a rc fiberglass boat.........I think probably 75% of these forums have had or own a MM including myself.....I have never heard of any damage complaints from anyone...they were in a flood and they are fine

as far as comparing it to the 32" head of the river cat...the mm has a better reputation as far as handling...its an aeromarine how can you go wrong...and as far as the rtr cat it has junk esc and motor...you would be dumping all that garbage anyway

Yes, thats true the motor and esc would not be tht good, but that price shipped to here is so low(the hull and hardware should be good right?)

I dont know anything of Aeromarine eighter.

So they were in a flood, that makes that water damage claim logig ...propably only the box has some water spots then.

to be honest I like the look of the head of the river cat and the harware looks pretty cool to..its 3" longer than the MM and the boat looks pretty scale

"head of the river cat and mean machine you will find a ton of info on people that have rigged them and there experiences

here i did it for you
