anyone here have any experience with the ECO "expert" model or "tsunami" or "saber"

ECO Expert is a class of racing not a boat, (any motor, submerged drive, 2s lipo with a max weight of 280g, 6 min runtime), both Bill's toysport Joker and the ETTI Tsunami fit the class with the right gear and are decent boats, although I would expect that for the extreme conditions Bill is running in the higher freeboard and narrowness of the joker is an advantage, personally if I was getting a submerged drive boat for racing it would be a Joker, not for any performance or handling advantage just because they are the only ECO boat that looks vaguely boat shaped, and yes I'm not keen on riggers either. The ETTI Sabre is also a good boat with very good handling for a stepped mono, but its not an Eco boat at all it is a mono 1 (surface drive, mono, any motor, 2s lipo with max weight 280g, 10 second mill time, 6 minute race time)

Mini ECOs are a seperate class (submerged drive, any motor, 2s lipo with max weight of 110g, 6 minute run), the mini ECOs are a fair bit slower than ECO experts.

While all settups do differ slightly in performance you can still spend more or less than Bill to suit your budget and have a race legal Joker with similar performance.

I beg to differ with that, My mini ECO is running 3S and I know that it's as fast if not faster than what I have seen in these Videos.

I believe you. the minis are super fast I'm sure at best its as fast as mine in the vid, but mine also had my slowest motor running it on 2s

Now if I put like a 7-turn novak in there? we're talkin' close to 50mph and I don't think there's a mini out there that can slouch it..

Righting is nearly ALL in weight distribution. If you can't get the batteries far enough on the chamber side, strap in a fishing weight as far near the rear of the boat and towards the chamber side as possible..

Oh yessir, those minis are AMAZING, and there's a few that will for sure run faster than what I'm doin' in the vid..
I wanna give one of those minis a try!!
