    isnt this the same thing as a pulso esc.....only a different wrap and a higher price

      opto means no bec also dalions told me that they would print any lables i wanted for the escs. so i would say yes.

            opto means no bec...
            No, opto controllers can have BEC, witness the Castle Hydras. But BEC kinda defeats the advantages of opto coupling. Opto means "That the final stage drivers to the motor are optically coupled to the lower level stage. Often, this is done with infrared components within a single integrated circuit (IC). This produces a very high level of isolation between the controlling stage and the output so that no feedback from the motor can get into the ESC."

            Bottom line, it reduces interference from high powered motors and reduces glitching.
