        From what I can find there are 2 versions - a mono and a hydro. They have 17" and 33" sizes for each one. The pics are of the larger version and the video is for the smaller one.

        I still haven't found a price list for the US. The larger version seems to be a bit under powered.

                Tell me that hull wouldn't make for a sweet Jet drive boat!

                  It would be nice. I saw that one when you posted about the scorpion hydro. How about dual jet drives?

                            Going back to the first clip, I believe that the hull may go pretty fast.. how fast? Dunno, but I'm sure that an "FE freak" like us will get that thing on 6s and over 60mph.
                            Looking at the video I just think it is underpowered, once one gets more air under the tunnels it should fly nicely...
                            IMHO of course.
                            :::::::::::::::. It's NEVER fast enough! .:::::::::::::::

I, for one, would get some major fun/giggles/smiles tooling this boat around the pond. No problem if anyone disagrees with this.
                              Tony, you have that one right.
                              I like the design and love the idea of a fun boat to "zoom" around the pond.
                              Someone suggested that it is about 30-35mph from the vid.....that is well fast for someone who buys a new boat out of the box. What does a SV27 do stock ??

                              It is not ugly at all. It is very different and that is good. Do we want all mono hulls to look like a DF ?? At the moment they are !! I like to see something different.

                              I would buy one today if I was not so anal that I like to build all my hulls.
                              I may buy a hull one day and this is excatly what I would buy as it would be a nightmare to try to do a wooden one.

                              Let's focus on the fact that this would be a good boat for an entrant to FE and the hobby.

                              I am sure that a bit of tweaking and setup would get it moving well before we all start to throw hundreds of dollars of unneeded power in there.

                              A bit of amusement from sailr and fred is always a laugh.
                              See it....find the photos.....sketch it it....build it........with wood
