    Feigao 12L or 13L or ? UL-1

I got a new ETTI 90 Amp speedo for my Aquacraft UL-1 and also want to upgrade the motor. I was thinking Feigao 12L or 13L or maybe something else altogether? Right now I'm running the BJ26 motor in it with a Grim 38x55 prop.

I don't want or need a missile for a boat but I would like to run around 45mph or so and not make my electronics work too hard. It can't be too much faster than my buddies stock UL-1 with prop swap or he will get discouraged.

What do you guys think? I'm open to suggestions other than stock UL-1 gear. Thanks!

You will be limited by your 90amp esc. Until you get a larger esc I would stick with the stock 2030 motor.

I don't have a stock UL-1 motor, I bought the hull only since all their electronics burn up. What's a good alternative because my BJ motor is slower than stock by a long shot. Thanks!

I would then buy a ul-1 motor. It would be a very reliable setup capable of over 45mph with the right prop.

I've decided (for now at least) to stick with my BJ motor and 90 Amp ETTI and spend the money I was going to use on the motor/water jacket/collet to buy more lipo's and props. I am using 38x55 on it right now but I've got an x440 x442 and x642 I could try and maybe pick up some speed.

              Thanks!
