    These are the 1/4 turn Dzus cowl locks I use on my gas boats.
    I use these because they are quick lock and release, and are very small and neat, but I couldn't guarantee that they would be waterproof enough for an FE application.

        I get these from EDL Fasteners here in NZ, but I guess thats not much help to you in the US.
        I would think any fastening retailer would carry, or at least know of, the Dzus line of fasteners as they used widely in industry.
        All those 1/4 turn fasteners with a screwdriver slot that you see on fullsize aircraft panels are usually made by Dzus.

            One question. Are you going to rely just on fasteners to keep water out of an electric boat? The Micro Hydro you say? Good luck.
