You'll find this funny, I did

Thunder Power called me today and asked me to back off supporting HobbyCity

They were crying about laying off people and losing orders and did not need me supporting Hobby King....

Thunder Power is a big ole fat monopoly and the party is over.

PS, they have never offered me anything and never cared if we could buy their product or not.

    Go Hobby King go!

Sooner or later, these companies in America are going to learn that "good customer service" does matter if they want to stay in business.

IMO Thunderpower are overrated, out of all the cells I have bought for my Trex 450 heli in the past 3 or so years, they last the shortest amount of cycles.

My Hextronic 2200mah 20-30 c packs outlasted both my TP packs and my Align packs...

          Go Hobbyking!

It would be different if we sold TP, the guy must be on crack or something.....call me asking me not to post about Hobby King. The only TP we ever sold was under the table with a distributor and we got a cut. A dealer would be stupid to stock any of this stuff.

I bought a 30C 2500 3S Thunder Power pack back in May. It was a lemon, leaking white powder from one cell after only half a dozen flights in my Parkzone Corsair and T-28 (a low power application if there ever was one). I e-mailed them last week, got an RMA, and today I got a tracking number for the replacement which will arrive early next week.

That's GREAT customer service, and I'll be happy to buy Thunder Power again and again. I have several already, and they've been better than all the other brands I've used.

                Andy

                PS - I won't buy from Hobby King/City either.

Maybe there is a difference in the "higher quality" (higher price) packs,,,but, would the average Joe clubracer really notice that much of a difference over ,,,lets say the Zippy brand???? And if he did , would it really be worh 2-3 times the price for that difference???

Just saying that there higher price LiPo companies are now getting a bit of a wake-up call....

                      What a joke.

I've gotten nothing but great products from Thunder Power, I can't say that about Hobby King of JUNK, I'll gladly pay a few extra bucks for customer support and service. Hobby King won't answer the phone or e-mails.

I will gladly buy all my lipos from Hobby King! IMO the batteries are just as goo and half the price, or less. Especially for my small boats/planes/cars. You'd have to be insane to want to pay twice as much money for the same product. I love the Hobby King!!!!! Also, after reading this post, I will probably never buy a T.P. pack.........EVER!!

It's funny that the NAMBA club guys always back the highest dollar packs that are offered.....and the rules follow as well. I wonder why the clubs fold up and everyone quits?

I have seen this for years....come a go. RumRunnerRacing clowns

                              My thoughts

My thoughts are that org. racing would be 10 times larger without those clowns screwing up everything over the years.
