    Mach 5 Racing couplers

    anyone ever used these?...they cost $40

    8mm to .187

      For that size cable I make them with 6 set screws on the cable. Big Power if you are running that size. I named mine "Big Dog" for a reason. :)

        I own one of the Mach 5 couplers. I will say they are great quality. It also helps to file a small flat spot on the soldered part of the flexshaft that the set screw will touch.

            It takes a small shop machinist a while to make these couplers. Time is money. If you farmed them out to a big shop they would want a 200 piece or more order. Considering the demand for such an item, its really not worth it to make large orders.
