how would one waterproof an esc?

    try radio shack for thermal glop(heat sink compond part # 276-1372)

      that stuff will work too...the heat shrink will hold the plates in place....i think ill use the aquacraft plates....the heat sinks on them are also wide enough for silicone tubing to fit between them, so i can pass tubing through there and cool the middle of the plate and not just the one side water passes through...

        save your money on the aquacraft plates. i can make u a set and ship them to u for 5 or 6 bucks. all u need is some aluminum tubing and some plate and aluminoid welding rods. i have 2 of the 3 just need some tubing. i have to make a plate for my oemrc controller.

          do i need to ship you the supplies (alum. tubing and plate and welding rods?) or do you already have those materials? sounds like a good deal...ill talk to my parents about it tomorrow....

            no all i need is a pic of both sides of the esc without shrink wrap and some measurements. u may only need 1 plate with a tube one each side. the pic makes it look flat with all the fets in 1 layer.

              well, i wont take off the heat shrink unill i can test the esc and see if it works...then ill take off the heat shrink and get some pics....yes, it is realtively flat.....
