I would put that on a rigger (bigger than what I currently run)

The 1700 props have the most lift of all the props Octura makes. I have used them on riggers with success. The 1747s are probably best suited for Q sport hydros or P/Q riggers, depending on the Kv of the motors of course. These props will seldom even hook up when used on monos or cats.

A 1747 is a lot of pitch, and need some HP to drive it.

A Octura v947/3 would be a good prop for a Spec rigger.

Odd post. The v947/3 has 13% more pitch and about 20% more blade loading than the 1747 does. If the 1747 is too much, how can the v947/3 be okay? IMO the v947/3 will burn down a Spec power system in short order. Must be a typo.

A P747 has the same pitch as a 1747 but less lift. If they are side by side it is hard to tell the difference.

Really? Seems like a lot of prop for Spec! High pitch and bigger diameter than we would normally run? Just curious. Somebody told me that a V937/3 would be good for 4P rigger. Haha. So many props, so little time!

Sorry I was thinking of the 21 series props not the 17 series.
