    Sprint cats question

I have a 35" sprint cat being shipped to me......I was going to try me 2215/2y in it but I was told by a few heavy hitters from here and rrr that that motor is to big for 35" boat

    It was suggested I use a feigao 580l 10t

Need other opinions of thos motor on 6s with hydra 240 lv

    Projected speeds and heat please

    Bustitup,
What you building this boat for? if for racing then you should stick with 6s power and Feigao 580l is just fine or 1527 Neu maybe, but if you just want to have fun around the pond then 2215 on 10s2p is not really bad idea at all, end up you will have 70+mph, longggg ass running time and very stable boat since its will weight around 12-15lbs. Hydra HV240 def will do the job .

actually I would like to race with it at a comfortable 50 to 60 mph and if i wanted to do just speed runs with it at 70+ also by changing a few things....as to using 10s2p with my 2215 motor I was told 4 5000mah batts would not fit in the hull

I do have a 41" sprint cat i bought also that is being delivered

I would still like to try the 2215 in the 35" cat just to see if i could make a couple passes at 70 to 80 mph

so no other opinions from anyone who has used the feigao 580l and attest how they compare with large neu motors?

36" hull is too small for open class on 10s, 41" is beter. 36" hull is a Q class 6s boat if you want to race.
