the LipoShiel is for 12S max, why do you want to have 2 in series? this device check the total voltage of one pack!
the other option is the Cellshield but it is only for 6S max, the good thing is that Cellshield check the voltage of each individual cell of a pack through the balacing tab.

was if the batteries is beeing run in series. so 1 liposhield on each battery.

but i read on the site that it is between the ESC and the recever.

            nope!
only one device between Rx and ESC, the device change the signal being sent by Rx to ESC when cut-off level is reached, it reduces to throttle, there are 3 connections on Liposhield/Cellshield, throttle input from Rx, throttle output to ESC and battery input voltage for Liposhield or balancing tab input for Cellshield, if you go for the Liposhield you only need to connect the voltage input at the ESC (2 wires) so that it check both batt voltage in series, if you go for Cellshield, you need to make an adapter plug (sort of multi wires Y harness) to connect both balancing tab (of each battery) to the corresponding input connector of the device!
            hope this is clear

If connecting the liposhield to two batteries in series. Connect the red wire to the positive on 1 pack and the black wire to the negative on the other pack. Do Not connect to the positive and negative on the same pack.

was under the impression that with teh liposhield it went between the ESC and recever and with that it wouldent se the batteries as 2 packs in series but as 1 pack and would cut when it was down to 3V on each of the cells.

Here is the installation document. You can see where you have to solder to the deans connector in this. The example shows only one connector.

In other words. Solder the red to the positive lead on the ESC and the black to the Negative lead on the ESC.
