Btw, i test Prather 260 today (i was by myself, video is comming) i got 73mph GPS, the boat is still very stable, the weird thing happened is seem like i draw less amp than P250 with same running time , maybe my boat plain beter and less drag.

12S makes a huge difference. I'd try it but I know the they are pretty strict about the NAMBA 10S limit at my lake.

This is a gas one, but another picture of one running:

I just love the sound of 12s on this motor, i won't asking for more speed than 75mph anyway, i think the Sniper hull is awesome handling, but remember its still has the limit, and i getting pretty close to it, i can feel it hehe, of course i will do just 10s when i race.

My fastest runs (high 70's backed up and a single 1-way of near 81) was using a cupped 1470. Oh yeah, and then the motor and Schulze went POOF!!!! Actually took a few more runs, it finally let go during a 2-lap using a x665. But the GPS read 72 something for the 2-LAP, so that was fun, for awhile!!!

I was running a 3060/10 at the time. Jimmy is using a 3080/5 and 3080/7 I think. Lots more motor!! So he's gotten up over 100 mph!! Wow. I don't think he got that fast at the last SAWS when I saw him running his Sniper. I would really like to get one of the same two motors he is running.

As far as my 360, nothing was ever over 125, ever. But it does not have to be a build up to failure. Sometimes things just go POOF!!

Jim was running 3080/5 at that time, 3080 is draw more amp than 2230 Neu, he choose Lehner over Neu for beter match kv and he did one past over 100, i watched his video and its seem pretty smooth

Where did he do this? Was it a GPS run or a timed SAWS run?? I know that the 3080/5 would be my choice for an all out T mono SAWS boat.

Ken Haines has a Sniper as well and he toasted a prototype Schulze 300 amp controller!!

                            Peter,
I will ask him for the video on next meeting, he ran 3080/5, 1050kv on 10s with Schulze 40160, after 2 pasts everything temp didnt even exceed 120, if you run 3080/7 which has similar kv with 2230 1y and you will get similar power out of it, people should already know even 2 diff person running same setup, one of them can draw a serious amp with driver habit, smoother on throttle is much beter than rough throttle for electrics, i can burn all my caps at once with alot of accelerate.
