I was saying on the VS and the H&M, but really you can use them on any lighter 4s hull... I would not use it on the DF you have, that thing is running so nice it would be a shame to change anything... besides, it's a bit heavy in the water.

Stickers come with the motor... they come in a sweet metal box, I am sure they could shave of some more money by sending it out in carton boxes, but it would not have the same impact.

Good choice in the motor chopper, I use my 1600kv 3026 on 6s and it rips. On 4s, it is pretty quick. so the 1900kv should be perfect! for a 4s rigger or especially your tunnel.

OK FINE......I want one. Now here is one for UB. You know the zipkit rigger that's being made. Think one of these can be made to fit the .12G (physically anyways)? I couldn't find any that seemed small enough.

is the .12 24" in length? the 3026 should fit in there... I have fit an L can in my Blizzard that's about the same size... it's just a matter of the cowling... oh, but wait... it's a 2s motor you need, due to weight one cannot fit more then that in there, lemme look around...

                    what about this:

I sold my 2215/2y and I'm thinking of getting the 4035 800kv scorpion for my 42" cat hull...whats your feeling on this with 8s or 10s...think it will push it ok and on what prather prop?

My Hydro was a powerhouse on 10s and I am yet to test her with 8s.
I hear that some guys are running Zipp Kits with this Scorpion and some others with a little less Kv.
It has a LOT of power.

I have no idea how it compares to the 2215, but is definitely cheaper, hhehehehe

yes thats why I made the move ...for the price of the 2215 I can buy the scorpion motor, the 42" falcon cat like doby has and the hardware also
including a 5" rail mount motor mount that is water cooled

On 10s it is a monster, I am trying her on 8s next... maybe tomorrow.
How does the motor run without water cooling? I see that they say they can run at over 350* F, that is great. I know outrunner's aren't as efficient as inrunners so I wonder how bad run time suffers. I have run only outrunners in my heli's and they make a ton of power.

I like the idea of that large outrunner in a 42" Dolphin hydro on 10s.

Raydee...my scorpion runs warm...not hot like the feigaos do...when under full throttle, but they do run warm.....this is only talking from experience in my rigger, which has very little air to flow inside as it is. the thunderboats and 1/10 and 1/8th scale hydros up here in the northwest run them without cooling motor mounts and they are great. Must help to have a larger air mass to draw from inside those bigger hulls...that is my theory.
