    Graupner Z-Drive 820

First time Posting So let me know if I am doing it wrong.
    I just ordered a Graupner Z-Drive 820.
Does anyone know if the B36 motor from the super V 27 will fit / work?
Do I need turn fins and trim tabs when using this drive?
I plan to put it on a Lizard Extreme Hull from MHZ
I am not looking for intense speed just a good boat for some wave bashing.

nearly all motors will fit on the Graupner Z drive
just make sure it is a 5mm shaft.
It turns out after I received mine it is not what I am looking for.
So if anyone is interested in purchasing it let me know
      new in box.

What are the limits to these things? Could it hold up to a high KV brushless?

The Z drive can handle up to 1 kW of power.
            gas or electric
I am in Riverdale, NJ 07457

The recommended 820bb motor has a larger mounting hole spacing. Have you tried a 540 size motor on the stock mounting plate?

                have not tried a 540
but a 540 will not be able to power a boat this size anyway.
I have a speed 820 motor for the Z drive as well. If anyone wants it.
                let me know.

By 540 size, I meant the size motor mount spacing, more than the motor power. The 540 hole spacing is the same spacing used in many of the popular motors being used. For example, supervee, ul-1, feigao b36.
