    Balsa hull repower time.

I need to do a twin drive, don't ask why, I just need to
I am smitten with the Mystery outrunner + 30A esc combo that is easily available and at an attractive price.

I am considering repowering either of these hulls.
    Hydro

    Cat

Will run 3S lipo. 2x 1500mAh 20-25C packs and for a start and a laugh run the red plastic 431 props, yes I have read a LOT about the benefits of CR props but I need to do a bit of testing before I go to metal octuras.

If I do the Cat I will have to pull the single motor mount out and do some hull work to get the twins in. It is all easy stuff and just takes a bit of time.

If I go with the hydro then I will end up with 2 struts on the transom and a rudder setback a little in the middle. This would then become a sort of drag boat for me.
I suspect it is a little narrow as at the moment I have a few issues with its handling at 40mph with the 12S motor in there.

    Comments, advise, flames
    See it....find the photos.....sketch it it....build it........with wood

ive always been a fan of cats (even though i dont have one lol) so i would have to say that but if the work to move the motors around is too much then i would just say use the hydro

on a side note could you do a link for me on the mystery outrunner + 30A esc combo

    thanks,
    James
