Kevin, you need to start running gas props with that motor. I like to run a X465 or X467 for play and prop shop 6516 3 blade are even better. Prather 260 works as well. I have run up to 70mm 4 blade props for just 5 laps with no problems as well. That motor is made to handle lots of power.

          Mark,
i glad you jumped in, your mono is my target to building this Sniper, btw, i watched one of your video, you was running 62mm 4 blades prop hitting 81mph, do you have any heat issue with that prop? can i hit same speed with similar prop but 2 blades? i build this boat is just for sport not racing, so i need a prop that fast enough and last for me at least 3mins running time, please give me an advice Mark.
btw, i like Prather prop because they are stainless and very easy to buy, do you thing Prather 260 can give me 3 mins running time?

Kevin I ran a prather 260 and got 106kph / 66 mph on 10S and over 3 min run time and the X460 gets me 102kph . I will like to try the ABC 2616 that prop on 10s will get me 75mph easy . Here a eagle tree chart that shows 2200 milliamp x 2 packs or 4400 milliamps used up in a little under 3 minutes with the prather 260

Thanks Peter, your infos is exactly what i want to see.
If i readed it right, max amp = 116 x2 = 232, average =17x2=34???, its sweet Peter, if i ran 12s its like 15-20% more with same prop, is that right? Abc 2616 is a huge prop chance (67mm 1.6p) you will do 2 or 3 blade? i just looking for 75mph with lowest amp draw as possible hehe

Kevin, most of the 4 blade props I ran were 65 to 70mm. They were not the best props to run because of the enormous bite. I snapped 3 cables in one day when we did the videos that day. The best props I like are the 3 blade 6516 that have been delifted for mono use. Dasboata, Voodoo or Bob Austin from propworks are good places to buy these props already done up for you. You can hit 80 mph on 12s 2p 10,000 lipos with several different props but the motor gets hot so you need to water cool the motor and speed controll and then heat isn't an issue. There isn't one special prop that works best its about what prop works best for your particular Hull. That means you will have to try several props to see what your hull likes.

                    Mark,
thank you for your advice, i know i have to choice several diff prop to get to the best one, i just want to get some clue from you then i will start from there since you running exactly same my setup, i just looking for a 70+ mph, i think its just perfect for me playing around, 80+ is just too much headach for me with a 45" mono i guess
