    Holly crapola!

So here I was snooping around to see what I find out about electric motors, then
at the NEU site I found out about things that are not posted in front of us...
So the motor line up for NEU is:

    11xx series
    12xx series
    14xx series
    15xx series
    17xx series
    19xx series
    and the
22xx series, right?! WROOOOOONG... there is a
    44xx series... that's right, a 44xx series!!!!
Are they powering tow trucks with that!?
You can find prices and such, HERE you'll find "IT" at the bottom.
Peter Z., I KNOW you'll get one of these eventually.

I just thought I had to share this finding with you FE boat enthusiasts.
    peace out

          Good find ! I notice that there's a $ 20.00 option for a front fan on the 15 series motors & a no-cost flat-on-the shaft option as well. Nice.

I like the avatar Tony, or should I say Capt Tony?
The fan would be a great addition for an Oval type race... I think the flat spot
has been shipped lately, but it's a flat in the middle of the shaft, not a whole side (correct me if I am wrong).

Jan, Peter will now be tempted to build a 6' long monster. Tony has finally found a way to float his Harley. Powering his sail boat.

The fan would theoretically eat some horsepower 'tho the additional cooling benefits would likely outweigh this. Both 1515 1Y's that I just got from Neu didn't have the flat spots, probably need to be ordered that way. I like to create my own flat spots to best fit the coupler anyway.

Douggie, in the spirit of honest disclosure, the sailboat actually belonged to my good friend and neighbor Dave Hunt, who offered up the Jane'O & crew for my honeymoon. The attached pic is my former 15 year liveaboard home, "Gypsy Boy", now only a beautiful memory.
