    Need A Brushless RTR Boat

    Hi

Sorry if you have heard it before. Looking for some stable speed with out a lot of mods, fixing etc. Can Anyone recommend a nice complete RTR. What happened to the CEN Aquajet 775?

    Thanks

Sorry to be rude..buy a decent hull and put in your power choice, it will be in the long term a cheaper choice . The only RTR in my oppinion is the UL1 and it will need modifications. This is a fast electrics forum, if you wish scale speed I and other members can help you out

You could also commission one of us to build it for you -- you would be looking at $400-$600 depending on hull, hardware and power supply. I know I would be happy to put one together, as would many other folks on this forum, at no labor cost, just parts.

the only trick here is convincing someone you will buy it once they put it all together or trusting someone with the parts you send to their house for construction. Maybe there is someone nearby that could do you the favor.

What type of boat - mono? I am building a 25" mono for someone and I am sure I could get it done for around $400 or less using quality parts. This guy is stable at 50, and really fun in the 40s.

A skunkworks mono (defect hull with some cracks in it) and hardware - $90 shipped. Otherwise a Delta Force mono hull, and speed master hardware and flex drive, prop $200.

If you were to use the Black Jack motor/esc at $130, radio $100 -- you would have a really nice and reliable boat that could handle 6S if you were to be so bold.

      just an idea

        Look here:

RTR with Lipo and charger for $350 shipped. Pretty good deal for a boat that runs in the high 40's.
My prop hasn't been wet in a while.

            Thanks for the response guys

You have sparked my interest with this RTR with Lipo and charger for $350 shipped. Does anyone else own this boat?

This Skunkworks boat is close the the DF29 and the DF29 knock offs. They run like champs and are great in the water!

Waiting to see if other owners of this type of boat may chime in

Do a search on here for DF29's. These boats rock and are reliable setups. There should be some video's floating around here as well.

This is a great boat for beginner and racer alike. I got my dad a DF 29 and he drools on it every time he gets it out, I should attach a photo of the look on his face wiping it down, he adores it .... well kind of like a cross between a naked lover and a newborn child...

This boat will handle 4-6" chop (tuned correctly) and be super fun. They actually run better with a couple inches of riffle but don't have any problem chewing on some good chop - I actually get the itch to go run mine when I see the trees swayin! (Mine is not this hull but is 29" a great size.) I just got a skunkworks 26" and it looks real good - real crisp lines and pretty rugged as well.

All in all I give this boat, set up and seller my 100% approval. Cory has done me right every sale and this would be no exception.

Go for it AKS, before someone else reading this thread does............................

                        Hey Guys

Just weighing pros and cons and building a budget. Cory's boat is in there though. Here is where I am at; not necessarily in this (or that) order

                        Aquacraft UL1

                        Cory's boat

                        Thanks

What is your budget, and be realistic? The kissing women and now a great looking hound has a great deal

Here are some other options. You would need to add a ESC and motor.
