I wonder if that is why Steve Neu decided not to go with the Abec 5 bearings in his motors??

I dont know, but I do know that people have problems with the rear bearing going in the Medusa's.

            Thanks Peter, great info

My 3680 2000kv is waiting at the post office for pickup now. I'll be putting it into a 32" Cat as my next build over the winter.

From what I have read on tests done on a buggy forum, the Medusa 3650 2200kv is the closest comparison to a Feigao 8xl. I guess real world running and time will tell how these motors stand up.

Raydee, please give us an update on how the Medusa runs up against your Neu on the whiplashes.

It will be a while before we repower our Whips but I will def keep you posted.

For what its worth I did here that the Medusa motors had some problems with bearings wearing out but replacing the bearing after a season of use is no big deal. Maybe on the Medusa V3 motors they will pin the endbell? That would def make it real easy to service.

Will a Feigao water jacket fit a Medusa?

Ya I thought that was odd too, but just looking at Medusa's site they don't make a 3650v2 2000kv only a 1600 and 2200.
