You are running 2 4S2P in parallel ?
        Have you bought the motor?
        Is this your first boat?

The motor is way overkill and what run times. The ESC I am not familiar with is it a car/aeroplane design

I'd pin the front of the hatch. If you're looking for high speeds, you may suck the hatch off in a flip, taped or not. I sucked a hamburger-sized patch of gelcoat off the hatch at a race at Kaiser Cove ; the hatch would've come off without the pin [ a small rivet]. All my hatches are now pinned or otherwise secured.

Here's another easy hatch-securing technique : a garage door opener belt-clip epoxied to my DF 33 hatch. The dark area on the hatch is the repair to the same gelcoat-ripping event that happened to the Drifter. Saved the boat, for sure ! [Water gets hard and abrasive at high speeds, trust me !]
