Desperately need Lipo

Hello all , since my NiMh have pass out this past winter , and Hobby city are back order , where i can find good as price then HC ? i know Pat at rclipos are a good guy , but they are twice the price of a 4900 ma 2s1p
and since i am rude on battery
i need 8 pack (4 for my son and 4 for me )

if you want cheap chinese batteries the place to get them is a cheap chinese company like HC

Just don't expect customer service. They are by far the worst in the business.

did u read his post at all monster, he states specificly that hc's out of stock- are there any other places.

answer: yes there is one other guy on ebay that has very cheap lipo's but they are low c so buy hi 14.8v pack and double than up in series. its like 34 bucks for 2 4s1p 5000mah

Yes, I read it. I was just looking at hc yesterday and they had 2s & 4s packs in stock.

They screwed up when they added the new name company to replace the zippys. You can no longer search '6s1p' and get all the 6s1p packs (or 4s or whatever) the new brand is only 6s in the title so you have to use the battery hunter.

My friend and I played last weekend. He bought 4x of the 2s5000 packs. He has the sv27 and I have the ul1. In both cases we felt like the boats were too light on 2x 2s packs and are thinking that 2x 4s packs (wired 4s2p) would help hold the boats down a little better.

What are you running these in? You could always get a lower capacity battery and run 2 parallel.

light is fun, teaches you to control blowovers too. i use 1 2s and 1 3s sometimes and its a blast.
