I need some help on my RC-Hydro ESC.
After about a year of not running my boat i decided to dust it off, buy some new cells and go to the lake.
I purchased this ESC to replace a stock traxxas 14.4 v Villain EX ESC.
I have run this boat before with 14.4 and 7.2 (for the kids) and it has always worked great.
I have been running small test runs on 7 cells and when i run the boat at 80% it runs great but when we i go 100% it runs for about 5-10 seconds and stops, even with no load outside the water. It look like it cycles through the start up process like when you plug the cells for the first time after a charge
Any help to what might be greatly appraciated.
My Running Gear is:
RC-HYDRO ESC
two Traxxas 14.4 (original EX motors)
Traxxas two channel Reciver
Standard EX transmitter
Offshore Electrics Villain Carbon Prop Upgrade Kit
Water cooling comming first to the ESC then to the motors
