    Hypeion packs and 5C charging

I got a set of 4s 3300 35C Hyperion packs. They claim that they can be charged up to a 5C rate. I do not think I would want to go much above a 1C rate. Has anyone been brave enough to try this?

I charge my 5500 3s packs at 10amps, anything over that and they start to get warm and i think dangerous IMO, 30min is fine at 10 amps for me. Top quality packs though.

Don't be scared, i have talked with guys that have 100+ cycles at 5c charge rate on 2100mah cells. I am charging mine at 2c only because that is all my charger will give them.

I have sold every battery I own and bought all G3 packs...they are fantastic cells at a great price.

            You need a charger that can put out 610.5 W to charge a 6s 5500 mah pack. For a 4s 3300 I only need 244.2 W.
