                        Hi Kevin,

Did you get that hull without rails? Just a suggestion, you should really consider running the rails about 4 inches past the cowl opening. The way you have it set up you run the real risk of cracking the hull. The other thing I noticed is your rudder, it looks to me like it's a lighter weight 21/45 size. Could be the picture but if it is that size you may find the first time you swap ends with the boat that bracket will bend. I've bent Speedmaster brackets and their allot thicker than the one your using.

                        Paul.

Mark threw the rotor on that motor also pushing it at 2 x 14S getting it to 89mph at a saws event..................

Kevin I have to agree with Paul the hull is tough but thin

i got the hull from someone and yes, it was no rail, i have to make the rails myself, but under those lipos, there 2 piece of thick wood mount down to the hull and connected to the rails, 1st to mount the batteries, 2nd to make to hull stronger, i think now the boat just like the want with rail or even stronger , and im using 67 size rudder and but its kinda thin, now im worry

                              Hi Kevin,

I wouldn't worry to much, the worst thing that would happen is it would bend and you would have to replace it. It will control the boat and as long as you don't swap ends at high speed you'll be fine. Who knows, you may luck out and never have that happen to you.

but under those lipos, there 2 piece of thick wood mount down to the hull and connected to the rails, 1st to mount the batteries, 2nd to make to hull stronger, i think now the boat just like the want with rail or even stronger
Believe me when I tell you your going to have to do more to reinforce the bottom of that boat. I've built over a dozen of those hulls for customers and a roughly 18 pound boat traveling at the speeds you want simply will not survive a hard stuff or big blow over. Not only do I run full length rails I also tie the rails in to the bow with urethane foam. The bottoms and decks of the boats I build do not compress under the stress of a hard crash.

Let's put it this way, any place on the hull that you can make flex by pushing on it with your hand can and will break sooner or later.

                              Paul.
