I am standardizing on batteries. 3s2200 and 6s2600. These fly all my helis and planks, some are 3s, some are 6s and some are 12s
. On 12s my t-rex 600 is nearly hitting 4kW
and it's a missle
I'm at the point now where I shop for new ships by what batts they can take.
The 3s packs are nice for smaller helis and 50"ish planks. The 6s packs are all 30C and they can really put out some serious power.
I think the Venom King of Shaves is on my list of must haves, but that's still months out and my friend just ordered a 27" superv so I've got to get something 'for now' to play.
The UL-1 looks pretty interesting, but it looks to be designed for 4s voltage and there's just no way I can get there, so short of stripping out everything it comes with and starting over with 6s it doesn't seem a good candidate (not that this is impossible if the UL1 is the best choice.)
With the packs I have and mixing them solo, series and parallel, they cover a pretty wide range, but not everything.
I like high quality items that go real fast and while this'd be my first boat I'm a very experience modeler and pilot.
Bigger the better.
Recommendations?
Thanks in advance.
