    Kinnda weird question..???

Ok this may sound dumb, and never heard this being mentioned so Ill throw it out there...

I was really thinking hard about ordering a small higer RPM neu motor for my tunnel hull today,

but will I have any problems with water getting inside my motor... is this an issue on other outboards..

    will it effect anything..?

The real question is, how far in the water will it sit when it flips?

Well... if it's on an outboard... it's going to get water inside...

It's only a problem if you don't clean it back out after it happens. I think the bearings are the main thing...

What I do with mine is flood them with Corossion-X before I run them... and then I blow the motor out when I'm done and put more Corossion-X in there... Seems to be working fine to this point.

Well Ill be running the Bullet drive, a Neu 1512 2.5d on 4s2p, Hydra120 and an x445.

I just didnt want anything to go wrong if small amounts of water got down in the motor as I ran a few minutes..

        Darin,

So spray corr.X IN the motor before runs.. do i spray it in then blow it all out with like a compressor or what do you suggest...

I have had motors submerged, full of water and they keep on running during races. Like Darin said, the bearings are the main thing to worry about
