    Straightline Pass

I just finished break-in on my 78 eliminator bubbledeck with a 454 Chevy bored out to a 468.. Windmill cove on the San juaquin Delta you can actually hear Van Halen 'Dreams" playing in the background..
Check my roost at the end!
I was only 2/3 throttle 'cause I'm getting used to it, plus it wasn't glass.

Bill... see if they can zoom the camera in a bit more... we need to see your BIG GRIN...

Is this a jet drive or a V-Drive?? What kind of speeds are you hitting??

She's a gorgeous jet, would like to pick up a GPS today so I can see what's up.. Haven't COMPLETELY unloaded her yet, but on a glass patch I (the human gps) gauged it at about 80-83mph

Yes, I'll get zoomed in on this time..
I had no idea the roost was blasting that hard! From the boat it looks about 4 feet high, but the vid proved different!

              Sounds like FUN!

You know... you could also mount your onboard camera that you used on those RC boats a while back...

Looking forward to seeing more! How about some pics of the boat as well...

I've seen some boats like this parked out in people's pastures around here and have often thought that it would be fun...

I'm a believer in Eliminators.. They rock.. Here's a link to mine before I bought it.. I've since done about 12gr worth of work in. It was actually raced in the late 70's early 80's and driving it I see why. ZERO porpoise, and it planes nicely.. http://www.performanceboats.com/html...ad.php?t=16475

I installed my own big block, rebuilt the jet, re-did the plumbing, electrical, fuel system , and ignition system. The boat is basicly brand new I also added all new instrumentation updated with gold bezels, a new white steering wheel with gold anodized helm gold anodized gas caps levers etc. all pimped out.

Here's a link to the ad I bought her from.. I've since pimped it out a LOT!

We had fun with jetavators years ago. We used to hit reverse at 50 mph and dip the nose in the water...crazy dam friend of mine. Jet boats are what I learned to tube behind...still have wounds to prove it. Turn on a dime....and the tube just folds up under you as you fly around the corner in the air only.

All we used then were ski belts...now outlawed.

I'll go with a Daytona next, but I'm not sure if I want to go to a 19 or jump to one like yours..
