    new tunnel

Hi everyone , need new tunnel hull as my little accadamy F1 has come to a sticky end.It was uncontrolable over 30mph anyway. Thinking of topspeed hull with BBY carbon lower leg 8xl and 4s. Freind has nitro one and it handles realy well at speed and corners great. Nearly 1kg hull dont Know how it would go. Any ideas at all would be great. Thanks

yeah, the TS 2 hull is good....someone has used it with the supervee setup and it ran great, wouldnt be surprised if you had the same or better results from it...

The 8XL/4S setup should work great, lots of power there. The TS2 is a good hull from all reports, and the carbon lower units have worked well for others. Don't worry about weight, that is an old-skool concern with today's power. The boat will perform better with the extra weight and be less prone to blow over. With powerful motors and quality LiPos we have to get away from the mindset that low weight is good - it isn't. Higher speeds mean more boat energy, which means more damage in a crash. We are already using nitro hulls with nitro layups and winning races. Light weight is for.....low power.
