    Electric boat

    Hey guys
Hope someone can help me out.
I have BBy 26 oval master and I"m having problems with the flex shaft's breaking.
    I'm running a 700 sc motor with 12 cell 3300 bat.
I have the stuffing tube about a 1/4" from the the motor coupler.
Just recently I flared the stuffing tube alittle to see if that will help, but have not run the boat yet.
    Anyone have any suggestions?
I do grease the shaft every time I use it, but I'm not having any luck
When I insert the flex shaft into the shaft it goes into the motor coupler with no problem and little angle..

Hope some one has some suggestions

Quick question, did you leave a little room between the drive dog and the strut?

Yeah pics will help a bit.

any binding in your driveline and is your cable the correct lay ? ie right hand or left hand lay depending on if it was designed for counter or normal rotation?

All of the above questions........and the big one is Prop size ??

Snapping flex is no fun and should not be a common occurance once the boat is setup well.
Wires do not snap near as often

Show us a pic or two of the strut end and the motor end and I am sure the answers to your questions will come.
          See it....find the photos.....sketch it it....build it........with wood
