LVC or not... I would not recommend anyone to continually run there LiPo's down to the LVC. You should be timing your runs and bringing the boat in BEFORE you hit the LVC.
It increases the life of the LiPo's
It decreases heat in the entire system
It decreases the chance of swelling lipos which can lead to a fire
Just my $.02. You guys make the choice...

Keep your runtime to 3 minutes until you have a good handle on your amp draw and cell/motor/esc heat.
After you know this info, you can adjust your runtime, but 5 minutes will not happen with that setup. 4 minutes may be do-able. My LSO race setup is a BBY Patriot 28" mono, UL-1 motor and ESC, X642 d/t, 4950 mah 28c Marinepowers and 4 min's is it.Comment

Do 3 minutes first, then work you way into 4 minutes.
Here's the math: That setup is +/- 60 amps on average. Therefore, you are burning 1000 mah's every minute of runtime.
If you want a 5 minutes AND your setup is confirmed 60 amps on average, then you need cells that can comfortably put out 5000 mah's. So, you really need a 6000 mah (Poly RC) or 6500 mah (Neu energy) cell to do it. I'd favor the Neu's as they are the latest generation cells.Comment

possibly going with some 4s 3000-3500mah packs in parallel ?.NAMBA20...Caterpillar UL-1, P-Spec OM29, P-Mono DF33, P-Spec JAE, Aussie 33" Hydro-LSH, Sprintcat CC2028 on 8s, PT SS45 Q Hydro, PS295 UL-1 power, OSE Brothers Outlaw QMono 4-sale, Rio 51z CC2028 on 8sComment

You can parallel your way to 6000 or 6500 as well. I favor going 1P on the spec classes because the cells will then be flatter...and the weight will be lower in the hull. Probably means and amounts to nothing; just one of my quirks.Comment

3 1/2 minutes and everything seems OK. I think probably could have gone 4 min.
but wanted to make sure how much it discharged. One of my friends was running
another Titan with UL-1 Motor/Esc and he was using a new SMC 2S1P 7.4 lipo with
8000 MAH repeat 8000 MAH and he ran almost 8 minutes. He got them at a Local
Hobby Shop in Easly, SC which is about 2 hours from where I live. Will have to check
this out. If they are available I will get two and be a happy man. Again Thanks

can the SV motor take 5s or 6s like the BJ26 motor can?.NAMBA20...Caterpillar UL-1, P-Spec OM29, P-Mono DF33, P-Spec JAE, Aussie 33" Hydro-LSH, Sprintcat CC2028 on 8s, PT SS45 Q Hydro, PS295 UL-1 power, OSE Brothers Outlaw QMono 4-sale, Rio 51z CC2028 on 8sComment
