    Triton makes 48mph!

I went to the M645 prop today on my Triton, it gps'd at 48 mph. Averaging 56 amps. I love that eagle data recorder!Too short a run though, had a pretty violent wipeout! I think I have some adjusting to do in terms of cog and strut angle. Too bad it pulled the trans loose after that run, I'm sure the devcon will hold it down in the future. It's now my fastest boat, I hope I figure out a way to keep it on the water! Here's a vid and the amp graph data from the run.

Once you get this package stablized LOOK OUT..... You should be racing. Your equipment and driving are that good. I hope to have my stuff up to your level some day.

Thanks oz, and SJFE, coming from you that is a HUGE compliment, no BS! Without guys like you on this forum I wouldn't be anywhere near where I am in this hobby/sport. And for the record, Mr. Vaccaro gave me the idea for running high cell counts for sport running with his 24 cell nitro MM conversion, his video blew me away. I hope I can afford to travel someday to meet some of the great people on this forum in person, what a great bunch of guys!

That was some flip though. You were lucky it pulled one of the wires loose so the motor would not damage anything.

Too true, powering up with the trans laying on its side could have trashed the cable and brass tube, lucky me!

That low amp draw average is great! Im pulling that with a 700 at a fraction of the speed lol. As far as the "get together" Im all for it, its a damn shame were all so far away from each other..

After closer examination of the boat and vid, I believe it hit something in the water, the turn fin (which is pretty sturdy) was bent toward the outside, and going frame by frame in the vid I noticed something kicked the transom out of the water and hard to the left. Maybe I will only need to make minor adjustments to get it dialed in, time will tell..........

Did it kick up the rudder?

No, but I don't believe the fin could have gotten bent like it did without an impact, and there is a chance an impact could have occurred at the far right side of the boat.

Looking at the graph your actual running amp draw was somewhat higher than 56 amps - that must be to average of all the time you were running. Without seeing a throttle or speed graph to compare with the amp draw, it appears that when actually running your amp draw was a lot closer to 70 amps - still not too bad.
