    Thrust bearings Need Help

Ok this is what happened to my Medusa motor and come to find out I need to run a thurst bearing.

So I got a thrust bearing from offshore and I have my back up motor until my Medusa comes back. There is not enough room to install the thrust bearing on the shaft of the motor I'm using a watercooled motor mount and there is a big hole in the middle so I need something to close the gap but there's not enough room. Here's some pic's

Any ideas on how to solve this problem? Can the thrust bearing go between the motor and coupler? I thought it need to go between the motor mount and coupler?

The thrust bearing can be installed between the coupler and the faceplate of the motor as it will still take the load of the endbell.
    Come to the FASST side

Magnets can shatter with or without use of thrust bearing. Some say high temps can lead to this.
