    Motor selection help.

hello all, I've got an ovalmaster 21 that I bought to mess around with while I'm out on the ski boat. I'm looking for a motor with decent run times and speed. So, maybe like and N2 offshore setup? I was thinking about a feigao 8L.. Am I in the ballpark?
    thanks, Kyle

    Hi Kyle,

Sounds in the right ballpark. could go to a lower wind for a few less amps, and probably longer runtime. depends what your focus is.

id be inclined to go 2p also, as if your out in fairly open it may be fairly choppy, you might want a bit more weight to keep the boat wet side down. the 2p will also increase runtimes, but id be sure to keep an eye on temps.

thanks for the info. I remember a friend have a mutineer with I believe a 9L and 438 prop. Heat was never an issue. So I was thinking a little hotter wind with about a 435 prop. I will be using some Gp 3300's that I have left over from my car stuff for now. then invest in some Lipo's.
