What GPS are you guys running?

FOr max speed I guess is all I'm really worried about. I'm just a basher so I don't need alot of info logging. I'm looking into the Garmin Foretrex and Forerunner series. What works for you guys? Thanks.

I use my Garmin Nuvi 310 that I use in my car as well. Put it in a ziploc bag and in the hull under a clear sub-hatch... Accurate enough for me.

Garmin Forerunner 101 - with the auto pause settings at 20mph so anything under 20mph does not contribute to average speed.

                  blackberry curve with trekbudddy.

i log the gps info to a GPX file then upload to a report generator, which not only shows max speed , average speed, climb, altitude and heaps of other useless info , it also plots the track on google maps so it can't be fudged by driving 60mph in your car then taking a pic of the gps in your boat

I normally delete the log after viewing it, will keep the next one I log. Last one i recorded was me on my jetski so wouldnt be too interesting anyway lol.

this is the reader I use, will actually keep all the logs once I get a new micro SD card my current one is only 1gb and pretty much full of photos etc
