It is not a very good boat. 30 mph is probably the limit of the hull.

i can vouch for that 30mph is its absolute limit ,, i had one and modded the crap out of it and a very unstable 30mph was all i could get, if it is just for jumping wakes, leave stock @ 18 or so MPH it is fine and will run all day jumping wakes. anything over 25mph and the hull has a tendancy to chinewalk like a bugger. maybe there is another Deep V available.
if it is to be used for jumping go with a big deep V.

30 is not the limit of the hull perhaps the stock set up but not the hull at all, Here is my Super Villian. Some modification has been done but it will run 60 MPH +, It is very stable and gets better in race water.

If you want to modify a Villain I can give a bare hull to you, just paying shipping for it.

did you reinforce the hull with cloth? or just your plywood rails and stuff? Looks good Rod.

It has all been reinforced with glass cloth and light plywood, It is very strong I had a very nasty crash last week during a race due to a very high wind gust ,hard blowover from the smashing sound it made when it hit back on the water I thought for sure something would have broken loose , but there was no damage at all, Its really a tough boat.
