    Lipo Batteries

Hi What is the difference between 2S1P and 2S2P if both are 20C 4900 MAH and
7.4 volts. Can I connect two in series on a UL-1 Motor and ESC without frying
everything. Boat is a 30" Cat. Thanks for your help.

    2s1p is 7.4 volts at 4900mah
    2s2p is 7.4 volts at 9800mah

The UL-1 motor and ESC are made to run on 4s1p so if you connect them in series you will be right on the money. Just remember when you connect them in series the MAH is going to be the same so it will be 4s1p 4900mah.

If both are 4900mAh, that means one 2S2P pack is made of two 2450mAh pack in parallel (4 cell total in the same package), the 2S1P pack being made of two cell.
Some people are saying not to connect different pack (brand or type) together, some other are saying differently!
