    Motor mounting in a v-hull

I have two 33" delta force hulls in the shop that I am going to build out......be a good change after doing the cats for some time now.

    Question.....

What is the best way to put the motor mount in the bottom of a v-hull? Not sure if I need to put a flat piece of plywood down first and then add the mount or just epoxy the mount on either side to the hull.

    Thanks!

    Scott

I use ply and SS blind nuts. It sure makes it easy to remove the motor for maintenance.

Monos if set up correcly will out turn and run a cat with no problem. It's not all about hull. It's more about setup & driving skill.

I have some real good success with the aquajet mount and two wood stringers. allows the motor to be nice and low in the hull with a mild angle for the shaft.

Is that Piranha Ray out there? I just finished bench testing your yellow cat....Oh My she sounds nice and all systems go!!!!

                On the delta hulls.....

I do have the stringers for the boats, not installed. It is a great idea to use a mount with the stringers! Will CA glue be sufficient to mount the stringers in the hull? I am thinking yes?

Vees have been in the shop for some time now.

Did all the paint on the bud select boat. Decals had made.
